Ainsley Lorych – Osteopath and Pilates Instructor
Ainsley is a fully qualified and registered osteopath with a background in dance and pilates. She gained her osteopathic qualifications from RMIT University with distinction and graduated dux of her class.
Since graduating, Ainsley has worked in osteopathic practices in Melbourne’s CBD and inner eastern suburbs.
While studying dance at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, Ainsley used pilates to augment her dance training and to aid rehabilitation from injuries. Ainsley has undergone pilates instructor training with Body Arts and Science and Polestar Pilates and she is a certified Polestar Pilates studio practitioner.
Ainsley has been teaching pilates for eight years on campus at the Victorian College of the Arts and in the CBD. She has extensive experience instructing people from all walks of life including elite athletes, triathletes, professional ballet dancers, pregnant women, office workers and patients with musculoskeletal pathologies such as disc bulges, shoulder impingement syndrome, iliotibial band friction syndrome, tendonitis, ankle sprains, tension headaches and the list goes on.



Anna Raetz – Yoga and Pilates Instructor
Anna is a qualified APMA Pilates instructor and is also a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level. She completed her yoga teacher training at Brahmani Yoga in Goa, India with Julie Martin in 2007.
Anna has been a dedicated practitioner of pilates and yoga, for more than 10 years. Prior to teaching, Anna attained an Advanced Diploma of Dance at the Australian Ballet School and danced with The Australian Ballet Company for five years.
Anna began practicing yoga and pilates to support her dancing and now enjoys sharing the transformative benefits these practices bring to her students. In her teaching Anna places an emphasis on correct alignment and technique while encouraging freedom, fluidity and economy of movement in conjunction with the breath.
Edwina Wren – Pilates Instructor
Edwina has an extensive background in the arts and trained as an actor and theatre maker at the Victorian College of the Arts.
She first became involved with pilates while undertaking her first year of training at the VCA in 2001. Edwina has since completed her Certificate IV in pilates instruction.
Edwina enjoys balancing acting work with teaching pilates loves working with her clients.
Steve Phillips – Pilates Instructor
Steve is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, School of Drama.
Steve has developed a solid yoga and pilates practise over the last ten years to keep fit and healthy for his acting work, which has included many performances with Melbourne Theatre Company and Bell Shakespeare. He continues to work as an actor and theatre-maker in Melbourne as well as being a pilates mat and pilatesstick instructor.



Jessica Fetterplace – Osteopath
Jessica gained her qualifications from Victoria University. She is a fully registered and qualified osteopath, who has an extensive background in sports. She competed in the World Championships for Australia in Sport Aerobics and as a national gymnast for many years. She has also trained competitively in swimming, athletics and skiing. The experience that she gained as an athlete has been paramount to her work as an osteopath and has enriched her understanding of how the body moves and why injuries occur.
Jessica spent 5 years in the UK where she worked in a variety of multidisciplinary clinics, treating a wide variety of patients from children to the elderly, athletes to office workers. Jessica has a specialized interest in sports injuries (of course!) and also chronic or recurring injuries that need a different approach. Jessica uses soft tissue massage, manipulation, mobilization, acupuncture (dry needling), posture assessment, ergonomics, and rehabilitation exercises to get the most out of her treatments promoting prompt improvement for the patients.
Most recently Jessica worked as the Osteopath for the Ladies European Golf Tour in Wales, treating some of the best female golfers in the world. During that time she also provided treatment for competitors in the 2009 London Marathon.
Ainslie Bryce – Myotherapist
Our Myotherapist at West End is Ainslie Bryce. Ainslie has over 10 years experience treating people from all walks of life including many elite athletes. She is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapists and also the Institute of Registered Myotherapists of Australia.
Ainslie has worked with many elite athletes and sports professionals from variety of sporting codes including the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Demons and NBL teams including South East Melbourne Magic, Victorian Giants and the Victorian Titans.
Ainslie has also worked at the exclusive Crown Towers Day Spa.
